Arizona was having a cool spell it was mid 80s during the day and low 50s at night.  Great weather except the wind was blowing 20 to 30 for days on end. We were there for 5 days and got some hiking in.  We didn’t do any biking as the trails were very rugged and steep.

We had a little accident on the way from New Mexico. We hit a rock the size of a football and it bent the rim on the right front tire on both the truck and trailer. A new truck wheel cost almost $800. The air is so dry it makes your nose bleed and gave Sally a headache.

The red rocks were beautiful so were the white rocks the brown rocks and the lava rocks.

It was so beutiful you could get aq great view from anywhere ion the city.

Rick tried the Pork BBQ but it had a metalic taste.

We are in Arkansas at Long Pool Campground in the National Forrest. The water level is very low so we have to portage a lot when canoeing but we love it, good exercise. And the dog is getting use to the water.
Went for a hike to Pedestal Rocks and got some good photos.

There are lot and lots of butterflies here. We hit them on the road like love bugs.

We will be leaving Arkansas on Sunday morning heading for Ute lake New Mexico.
